Agile work practices and employee proactivity: A multilevel study

چکیده
Several large organizations underwent agile transformation processes over the past few years, despite limited theory and empirical research on working. The present study draws from taskwork–teamwork distinction proactivity literature to develop a new multilevel model of We tested this in sample 114 teams ( N = 476 individuals) undergoing an at German transport logistics organization. Teams end scored significantly higher work practices, norms, team performance than beginning transformation. Results multigroup structural equation modeling indicated that taskwork related indirectly through positive relationship with norms. teamwork was not mediated by unlike hypothesized. Finally, we found increased likelihood individual employees benefited engaging proactive behavior (specifically, employee intrapreneurship) terms in-role (i.e., cross-level interaction). This presumably because favorable norms practicing moderation). discuss implications our findings for teams.

The dynamics of proactivity at work
As the organizational literature on specific proactive behaviors grows, researchers have noted inefficiencies and redundancies in the separate study of different proactive behaviors when their underlying nature, antecedents, processes, and consequences may be similar. We develop a framework designed to generalize across specific manifestations of proactivity, describing the nature, dimensions, ...
